During the final campus placement of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), the highest offer bagged is Rs 32.8 lakh this year which is up from last year’s Rs 30 lakh. Five students of this college were selected by the firm which offered the top package at the institute. From Rs 18.91 lakh in 2018 to Rs 20.13 lakh this year, the average salary of the batch went up. There was a 14.1% increase from last year of the average salary drawn by the top 10% of the batch which was around Rs 29 lakh.
Around 67 students had pre-placement offers. From the 2017-19 batch, around 37% of students are freshers and 30% have an experience of one to two years. Around 41% offers made by firms from the Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) which continued to be the largest recruiter followed by technology at 19%.
