A statement from JEE Advanced organizers says that the examination date for JEE Advanced 2019 has been postponed from May 19, 2019, to May 27th 2019. The decision has been taken due to the clash of dates between the exam and the general elections. It is to be noted that the last phase of the general elections is to be held on May 19, 2019.
The official notification reads out that the examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST).
