- As many as 12 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main January-February session this year
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 13 declared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 result. To check the JEE Main 2024 session 1 results, candidates have to visit the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. To download their NTA JEE Main Result 2024 score card, students must visit the official website and key in their required credentials like registration number and password to login. Once successfully logged in, students would be able to check their score card in their student profile.
A few candidates whose results have been declared on February 13, are claiming that there is a difference in their JEE Main marks and percentile predictions. However, NTA dismissed the allegations and claimed that the students have scored as per their performance and there is no error in the percentile calculation.
As many as 23 students have achieved the 100 percentile marks. As per data shared by NTA, Telangana has the highest number of 100 percentile holders with seven followed by Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan with three each. Delhi and Haryana have two 100 percentile holders. One each from Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka, have also scored 100 percentile marks. The entrance exam was held on January 24th (2nd Shift) for B.Arch. and B. Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B) and January 27, 29, 30, 31st and February 1, 2024 for B.E./B.Tech (Paper 1) at various exam centres.
