JEE Main 2025: Key Dates for Objections, Final Answer Key, and Results
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 answer key objection window today, February 6, by 11:50 PM. Candidates must submit objections before the deadline on the official websites nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in. Each challenged question requires a non-refundable fee of Rs 200.
After reviewing objections, NTA will release the final answer key. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 results will be announced by February 12. Since the final answer key determines the results, candidates will not receive individual notifications about objection outcomes. Instead, they should check the official website for updates. Once finalized, the expert-reviewed key will be definitive.
Exam and Marking Scheme
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 took place from January 22 to 30. Each subject had two sections Section A with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B with numerical value-based responses. Incorrect answers in both sections lead to a one-mark deduction, while correct answers earn four marks.
However, unanswered and review-marked questions do not receive marks. If multiple answers are correct for a question, candidates selecting any correct option will get four marks. Furthermore, if all answer choices are correct, all attempting candidates will receive full marks. In cases where a question is incorrect or dropped, all candidates will receive full marks, whether they attempted it or not.
To stay updated on the final answer key and results, candidates should visit the official website regularly.
