The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper 1 (BE/BTech). However, the results for Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) are yet to be declared.
A total of 15 candidates secured a perfect 100 NTA score in Paper 1. The top scorers include:
– Rajasthan: Ayush Singhal, Rajit Gupta, Saksham Jindal, Om Prakash Behera, Arnav Singh
– Karnataka: Kushagra Gupta
– Delhi (NCT): Daksh, Harsh Jha
– Uttar Pradesh: Shreyas Lohiya, Saurav
– Maharashtra: Vishad Jain
– Gujarat: Shiven Vikas Toshniwal
– Andhra Pradesh: Sai Manogna Guthikonda
– Telangana: Bani Brata Majee
This year, 13,11,544 candidates registered for the JEE Main Session 1 Paper 1 examination, of which 12,58,136 appeared, resulting in a 95.93% attendance rate. Among the registered candidates, 4,43,622 were female, 8,67,920 male, and 2 from the third gender. Eventually, 4,24,810 female, 8,33,325 male, and 1 third-gender candidate appeared for the exam.
The NTA withheld scores of 39 candidates due to their involvement in Unfair Means (UFM) practices. The agency clarified that NTA scores are normalised across multiple sessions and are not equivalent to percentage scores. The normalisation formula considers the relative performance of all candidates within a session, ensuring fairness.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper 1 was conducted across 618 centres in 304 cities in India and abroad. The exam serves as a gateway to premier engineering institutes, including the IITs, NITs, and IIITs.
