The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is thinking of setting up a new satellite campus outside the National Capital Region (NCR) focusing to make the university accessible to more students.
The highest decision-making body of the Executive Council (EC) has released the decision to explore the practicability of the entire plan and examine the proposal.
JNU Vice Chancellor (VC) Jagadesh Kumar said the satellite campus would focus on job-oriented courses. There is also a plan to have a bio-incubator and industry-funded labs on the campus.
