Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has opened the application window for PhD admissions for the academic year 2025–26. Interested candidates can submit their applications online at jnuee.jnu.ac.in until July 7, 2025.
Applicants will have the opportunity to correct any errors in their submitted forms during the correction window from July 8 to 9, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the PhD programme must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- A Master’s degree (1- or 2-year) with a minimum of 55% marks
- An M.Phil degree with at least 55% marks
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks (or 70% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, or EWS categories)
Applicants with foreign degrees must ensure their qualification is recognised by a competent authority in India.
