On 22nd April, the Karnataka state government responded to recent protests by students, lecturers, and parents regarding “out-of-syllabus” questions in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 by establishing subject-specific committees to investigate the matter. The government further announced that the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline until 27th April for students to submit their objections regarding the questions.
