KL Deemed to be University proudly hosted the national-level Art Mahotsav’24 on March 2nd at the Research and Development Centre in Vijayawada. The event was a collaboration between KLTIF and the ACIC KL Startup Foundation, along wide Dream Works Art Gallery and Ananth Diamonds, showcasing the talents of over 1000 participants and 250 artists from across India. Highlights included a comprehensive art workshop and a competitive event celebrating the creativity of the winners.
The event was graced by the presence of renowned artists such as Ms. Mahalaxmi Pawar, T. Venkata Rao (TV), Sannala Vara Prasad, Dr. M Uday Kumar, L.R. Venkata Ramana, T. Mruthyanjaya Rao, G. Jayanna, Dr. N. Ravi Kumar Vempatapu, Puppala Bapiraju, Menda Mohan Rao, Sai Babu, and others, highlighting its importance. It was further honored by the presence of Ms. Mallakanti Lakshmi Kantha Reddy, the distinguished Airport Director at the Airports Authority of India in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, who served as the Chief Guest. The event’s significance was augmented by the attendance of other notable figures, including Shri Jasti Anantha Padma Sekhar, the visionary founder of Ananth Diamonds, and Mr. Ramesh from Dream Works Art.
These distinguished guests not only added prestige to the occasion but also shared valuable insights and offered encouragement to both veteran and budding artists. Their contributions made the event a memorable celebration of artistic talent and innovation.
The festival facilitated cultural exchanges and collaboration among artists from different states, promoting regional art and culture on a grand scale. It recognized and appreciated artistic talent from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, and Kerala, thereby strengthening the art community by encouraging creativity throughout the region. Through interactive workshops and discussions, the event served as a platform for learning and dialogue.

Pardha Saradhi Varma, Vice Chancellor of KL Deemed to be University, reflected on the success of the event with enthusiasm, stating “The success of Art Mahotsav’24 is a testament to the vibrant artistic culture that we have always supported and nurtured among youth. With a strategic focus on positively impacting the community, Art Mahotsav aimed to boost the local economy through the promotion and sale of artworks, enhance community morale by celebrating local talent, address environmental concerns through art, and create a shared space that bridged generational divides.
Mr. Alok Govil, CEO of KLTIF, and Mr. V. Ramankanth, CEO of ACIC KL Startups Foundation, played pivotal roles in ensuring the seamless execution of the event. ‘Art Mahotsav’24’ was envisioned as a leading platform for artists across India, fostering creativity, building community, and highlighting the nurturing ecosystem provided by KL Technology Business Incubator and ACIC KL Startups Foundation for emerging artists. This initiative aimed to celebrate artistic innovation and offer a supportive space for artists to flourish and connect.
