The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at KLH Bachupally Campus has successfully concluded a 10-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled Advanced Nanoscale Materials for Sustainable Electronics & Energy Devices. The initiative brought together leading educators and researchers to explore groundbreaking developments in nanomaterials and their applications in sustainable technologies.
Designed to promote a multidisciplinary approach, the FDP aimed to equip faculty with expertise in energy-efficient, eco-friendly devices. Organised with the support of the Electronics & ICT Academy at NIT Warangal and IIITDM-Kurnool, the programme featured distinguished speakers from IITs, NITs, IIITDMs, and IISER.
Over 40 hours of interactive sessions covered topics such as optoelectronics, energy harvesting, fibre optic sensors, and wearable technology. Special emphasis was placed on semiconductor materials, flexible electronics, and nanomaterial fabrication techniques.
Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal of KLH Bachupally Campus, praised the programme, stating, “This FDP has played a crucial role in fostering research and innovation in sustainable electronics, enabling faculty to integrate cutting-edge advancements into academia.”
KLH Bachupally continues to champion faculty development through workshops and symposiums, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and technological innovation.
