After successfully conducting Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination and Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2017-18 in the months of March-April, the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has said that it is likely to announce the Class 10th and SSLC results for 2018 on Monday, 7th May according to their official website.
The SSLC exams were held from 23rd March to 6th April 2018 across the state in 2,817 examination centres. Even though the date for the announcement of the results is stated on the official KSEEB Board SSLC website, it has not been confirmed by the officials of KSEEB Board.
The KSEEB Board Results for 2018, whether SSLC or Class 10th, will be made available to students looking to obtain them on the KSEEB Board’s official website- http://kseeb.kar.nic.in/
There are other ways to access the board results too in case a student does not have access to their website. Students can obtain exam results via call. They can expect a lot of waiting to obtain their results on the day the results are announced, as there might be a lot of people calling. To avoid this, students can also get their results via SMS to the KSEEB Board. This method is expected to save a lot of time and is considered better and more efficient.
The KSEEB Board results can be accessed on the respective school’s website as well. Roughly over 10 lakh students in total gave the board examinations and the number has been increasing every year, ever since the foundation of the board in 1966.
The board also has divisional offices which offer help to the students with their problems on a local level. Measures such as these allow students to get help with any issues they might have, in a much simpler manner.
In case a student fails to attain the passing marks, the board holds a solution for that. It organizes examinations for the failed students in June so that they can join the academic year in July in the same year. This measure was introduced for the first time in India by the KSEEB Board.
