The Lovely Professional University (LPU) campus was abuzz with excitement as it hosted its much-anticipated Placement Day 2025. The event brought together faculty, students, staff, and parents to commemorate outstanding placement achievements. An impressive 1,700 students secured positions with top multinational companies, all receiving offers exceeding ₹10 LPA. Among them, one exceptional student clinched a record-breaking package of ₹1.02 crore, reflecting the university’s dedication to academic excellence and career development.
LPU continues to uphold its stellar placement record, with over 4,000 leading companies actively recruiting its graduates. Prestigious global firms such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, ServiceNow, Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant were among the top recruiters. A remarkable highlight was Betireddy Naga Vamsi Reddy from the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, who secured an extraordinary package of ₹1.02 crore ahead of his May 2025 graduation. Other outstanding placements included ₹53 LPA in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, ₹24 LPA in Architecture and Design and Computer Applications, ₹23.25 LPA in Design and Multimedia, and ₹20.32 LPA in the Mittal School of Business. The top 10% of students received an average package of ₹12.19 LPA, with six students securing packages above ₹50 LPA and 57 others landing offers in the ₹20-30 LPA range.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements. “LPU is not just educating but empowering students to become future leaders. Our curriculum evolves continuously to align with industry demands. Through the EduRevolution initiative, we integrate AI, real-world applications, and gamification, ensuring our graduates are job-ready and future-proof,” he stated. Dr. Mittal further emphasised LPU’s commitment to advanced training and industry exposure, making it a top choice for leading recruiters.
The celebration was marked with joy and pride as thousands of students donned ‘Proud Verto’ sashes and gathered to commemorate their success. The festivities included group photographs with university dignitaries, the release of colourful balloons, and a grand procession accompanied by a pipe band and rhythmic drumbeats. Students also visited the Centre for Professional Enhancement and the Division of Career Services, both instrumental in guiding them towards their career milestones.
During the event, Vamsi, a BTech ECE student, encouraged his peers and juniors to extend their learning beyond academics. He urged them to actively participate in live projects, workshops, and campus clubs at LPU, gaining invaluable industry exposure and knowledge.
