Max Healthcare Foundation has unveiled the second edition of its flagship Max Medical Scholarship Programme, aiming to support 100 meritorious students from economically weaker sections pursuing medical education.
The initiative will fully fund the medical education of students who have qualified for the NEET exam and secured admission to MBBS programs in government medical colleges across Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Nagpur, and Dehradun for the academic year 2024-25. Additionally, the programme will continue funding students from its inaugural batch, ensuring consistent support throughout their academic journey.
As part of Max Healthcare Foundation’s CSR efforts, this scholarship provides comprehensive financial aid, covering tuition fees, a laptop, textbooks, medical tools, and a monthly allowance. The assistance spans the entire five-year MBBS course, addressing financial barriers for aspiring medical professionals.
Speaking about the initiative, Mrs. Taruna Soi, Chairperson of Max Healthcare Foundation, said, *“This programme aims to empower talented students who face financial hurdles, nurturing their dreams and fostering an inclusive future in healthcare.”*
Registrations open on December 13, 2024, via the foundation’s website. With 100 scholarships awarded annually, this marks one of India’s largest medical education grants, reaffirming Max Healthcare’s commitment to fostering talent and compassion in the medical field.
