On Thursday, Microsoft declared that it is introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep neural networks to enhance language translation for Bengali, Hindi, and Tamil.
The results are more accurate with more natural sounds with the deep neural networks-powered translation.
Sundar Srinivasan, General Manager- AI and Research, Microsoft India, said, “Microsoft celebrates the diversity of languages in India and wants to make the vast Internet even more accessible.”
He added, “Today’s launch is a testament to our quest to bring cutting-edge machine learning (ML) technology to democratize access to information for everyone in India.”
Users can now easily avail the benefits of this system while surfing across many browsers like Microsoft Edge, Bing Translator, Bing Search, and Microsoft office 365 services like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Skype.
This translator app in iOS and Android can identify and translate languages from text, speech and even images.
