Monash University, one of Australia’s leading academic institutions, has announced the Monash International Leadership Scholarship for outstanding international students commencing their undergraduate or postgraduate studies in 2025. This prestigious scholarship is designed to support students with exceptional academic performance, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a clear commitment to community impact.
Scholarship Benefits and Duration
Recipients of the scholarship will benefit from a tuition fee reduction of up to 100 per cent for the entire duration of their course. To retain the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum average of 70 per cent each semester. The university awards four scholarships annually, making the competition highly selective.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

* Fulfil entry requirements for their selected course
However, certain programmes are excluded from this scholarship. Students pursuing the Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, or Monash MBA are ineligible. Additionally, students enrolled in Monash Pathway programmes or transferring from other Monash campuses or Australian institutions are not considered. Applicants must also not hold any other Monash-funded scholarships or financial assistance.

Applications must be submitted via the Monash University website. As part of the process, applicants must include a 500-word statement detailing their leadership experiences and future goals.
