The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the schedule for various medical exams like the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and NEET PG. According to the new schedule, FMGE 2024 will now take place on July 6, 2024 instead of the previously tentatively scheduled date of June 30, 2024.
Additionally, NBEMS had previously changed the date for the NEET PG 2024 exam to June 23 from July 7. The results for NEET PG 2024 will be declared by July 15, 2024 and the counseling for admissions will occur from August 5 to October 15, 2024. The cutoff date for eligibility to appear in NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024.
The FNB Exit Examination 2023 and NBEMS Diploma Practical Examination – Dec 2023 will be held in April or May 2024, with the specific dates yet to be announced.
The DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examinations for May 2024 are scheduled to take place from May 15 to 18, 2024.
In June 2024, GPAT is set to be conducted on June 8, and the NBEMS Diploma Final Examination for June 2024 will occur from June 14 to 17, 2024. Subsequently, the DNB Post Diploma CET (PDCET) 2024 is scheduled for July 21, 2024.
The medical exam calendar will be concluded with the Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination (DPEE) – October 2024, scheduled for October 5 and 6.
According to an official circular from NBEMS, candidates are advised to verify the exact examination dates from the Information Bulletins/NBEMS website, as the dates mentioned above are tentative and are subject to approvals and confirmations.
