The National Testing Agency (NTA) added new exam centres abroad. NTA which started the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) on February 9, 2024 has been calling for applications from candidates abroad. Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lampur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Singapore are the new exam centre cities added to the list.
Candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres would have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the NEET UG 2024 application correction process. NTA officials said that candidates in foreign countries wishing to change their centres to foreign cities can make corrections during the application correction process, for which they would have to pay a differential amount. Candidates who are applying afresh from foreign countries can change their centres to foreign countries directly from the drop-down menu during the application.
Candidates can get access to the application form, information bulletin, syllabus and the exam pattern at website, neet.ntaonline.in. The application fee has also been increased for all the categories of candidates, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
