Bengaluru-based workforce skilling platform NextLeap has acquired PM School, a product management education provider, in a move to enhance its expertise in the domain. The acquisition will strengthen NextLeap’s offerings, providing learners with advanced resources, mentorship, and career support. The integration process is already in progress, with new courses set to launch later this year.
NextLeap, founded in 2021 by former Flipkart executives Arindam Mukherjee and Mohammad Yasir, specialises in helping professionals transition into technology roles. Its bootcamp-style Fellowship programmes cater to early-career professionals seeking careers in Product Management, UX Design, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering. With the addition of PM School, NextLeap aims to provide a structured, hands-on learning approach tailored to industry demands.
PM School has established itself as a reliable platform for aspiring product managers over the past 4.5 years. The transition ensures that its learners will benefit from deeper mentorship, increased resources, and a seamless bridge between education and employment.
Backed by prominent investors, including InfoEdge Ventures, Mukesh Bansal (Meraki Labs, Cult.fit, Myntra), Kalyan Krishnamurthy (Flipkart Group), Kunal Shah (CRED), and Amar Nagaram (Virgio), NextLeap raised $2M in seed funding in 2021. This funding supports its mission to bridge the gap between traditional education and industry-relevant skills.
With the acquisition, NextLeap strengthens its position in the workforce skilling sector, aiming to equip professionals with the necessary expertise to succeed in the evolving technology landscape.
