The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) report of the Ministry of Human Resource Development made evident that the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is the only higher educational institute in the entire nation which has a graduation outcome of 99.12 across fields of study.
JNU ranks highest in the aspects of its student’s success rates in recruitment in industrial and governmental fields, and pursuing higher studies. IIT Madras has a graduation outcome of 85.36, IIM Calcutta 86.81 and Delhi University 85.14, in comparison.
The NIRF reported the several factors that are taken into account when ranking institutions on the graduation outcome- “This parameter forms the ultimate test of the effectiveness of the core teaching/learning activity, and measures the student graduation rate and their success in finding appropriate placement in industry and government or taking up higher studies.”
