Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) India Ltd has announced the commencement of its recruitment drive for more than 150 positions across mining roles. The application window opens on 15 April 2025, and interested candidates can apply online via the official website, nlcindia.in.
The recruitment includes 69 vacancies for Junior Overman (Trainee) and 102 posts for Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I).
Eligibility Criteria:
For the Junior Overman (Trainee) role, candidates must possess a diploma in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, an Overman certificate issued by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), and a valid first aid certificate.
Applicants for the Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) post must hold a degree or diploma in any field along with a Mining Sirdar certificate from DGMS. Those holding a Mining diploma and an Overman certificate are also eligible.

Selection Process:
The selection involves a written examination, document verification, and a medical assessment. Initially, selected candidates will be posted at Neyveli Mines in Tamil Nadu.
Pay Scale:
– Junior Overman (Trainee): ₹31,000 – ₹1,00,000 (S1 Grade)
– Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): ₹26,000 – 3% – ₹1,10,000 (SG1 Grade)
