NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), has partnered with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) to introduce joint certification programmes aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge in the securities and financial markets.
This strategic collaboration seeks to address the increasing demand for high-quality education in India’s BFSI sector by equipping students and professionals with essential expertise to navigate the evolving financial landscape. The certification courses will cater to a broad range of learners, from beginners seeking foundational knowledge to experienced professionals looking to upskill.
The first programme under this partnership is a Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Fintech, which features weekend classes, campus immersion, and capstone projects. The course integrates specialised modules on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Generative AI, and Data Analytics, offering participants hands-on learning to apply emerging technologies in finance.
Beyond fintech, NAL and NISM plan to expand their offerings to cover key areas such as Capital Markets, Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Regulatory Frameworks. The collaboration aligns with the shared vision of both institutions to bridge the skill gap in financial markets and develop a future-ready workforce.
