The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session. The computer-based exam will be conducted from August 21 to September 4 across various cities in India, covering 83 subjects.
Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from the official UGC NET website by entering their application number, date of birth, and security pin. The admit card contains crucial details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre address, and specific instructions for the day of the exam.
Steps to Download the Admit Card:
1. Visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the UGC NET 2024 admit card link on the homepage
3. Enter your login credentials, including application number, date of birth, and security pin, and click ‘Submit’
4. Your admit card will appear on the screen
5. Download and print the admit card for future reference
In preparation for the exam, the NTA has released exam city intimation slips for all dates except August 27. This is to assist candidates in planning their travel to the examination centres effectively.
A key update for candidates is the rescheduling of one of the exams initially set for August 26, 2024. This exam has been moved to August 27, 2024, due to the observance of Krishna Janmashtami.
Candidates must bring a hard copy of their admit card to the examination center. The UGC NET June 2024 exam will last three hours and will be divided into two papers. Paper 1 consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, while Paper 2 will have 100 questions, all in the MCQ format.
