Odisha’s Higher education Minister, Arun Sahoo suggested a new programme, “give back to roots”, to generate funding for educational institutes in Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) meeting held in Delhi. The minister emphasized on the need of a proper financial plan, the ministers from others also agreed on that, they also suggested new ways of acquiring funds for educational institutes in their respective states. The purpose of the CABE meeting was to discuss new educational policies and was drafted by former ISRO chief, K Kasturirangan.
Odisha’s School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Das, who also attended the meeting laid emphasis on pre-primary education. He focused on funds and proper allocation of them to effectively implement the new educational policies.
“Indian education system is highly regulated but poorly funded.” Said Manish Sisodia, Delhi Education Minister.
