The admission process for Delhi University will not begin on April 15 as declared earlier by the university’s Admission Committee. Many changes in the admission process are being planned to introduce this year by the panel and due to which it is taking time.
Rajeev Gupta, Dean of Students’ Welfare on Tuesday, told that they will extend the dates which are still under process and they are working on the admission schedule.
He further stated that there are lots of changes to be made in the existing software and norms as we are proposing to make a lot of changes.
It has already been announced to make a few changes which the Admission Committee has planned. They are: for a change of stream, deduction of marks from five percent to two percent will be implemented. The ECA and Sports admissions are going to be delinked from admission cut-off lists.
