Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), allegedly backed by Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the Pulwama district attack. As bodies of our brave martyrs come down to Delhi for their final rights, an all-party meeting has been scheduled to discuss the current scenario and future moves of India. This will be a one-of-its-kind meeting called under PM Narendra Modi by the ruling NDA amidst the wake of a terror attack.

As a “mark of respect”, Virat Kohli postponed the RP-SG Indian Sports Honours and tweeted “The RP-SG Indian Sports Honours has been postponed. At this heavy moment of loss that we all find ourselves in, we would like to cancel this event that was scheduled to take place tomorrow.”
According to PTI, US National Security Adviser John Bolton spoke to Ajit Doval saying, “I told Ajit Doval today that we support India’s right to self-defense. I have spoken to him twice, including this morning… and expressed the US’ condolences over the terrorist attack.”
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team & explosives and forensic experts have collected necessary materials for forensic evaluation of the crime scene at Pulwama. Soon a report will be sent to the centre after analysis, according to ANI.
