The State Bank of India (SBI) has updated the exam dates for the SBI PO Prelims 2025. Candidates can check the revised schedule on SBI’s official website, sbi.co.in.
As per the official notice, the preliminary exams for Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment will be held online on March 8, 16, and 24, 2025.
Exam Pattern
The preliminary exam will be an online objective test carrying 100 marks. It will have three sections:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
The exam will have 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour.
Selection Process
SBI will create a category-wise merit list based on total marks in the preliminary exam. There will be no sectional cut-off. The top 10 times the number of vacancies in each category will qualify for the Main Exam.
Candidates will lose 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer. Unanswered questions will not attract any negative markings.
SBI will release call letters with exact exam dates and times soon. Candidates must keep the call letter and authenticated ID proof safe, as they will not be collected at the exam venue.
Registration Details
The registration process ran from December 27, 2024, to January 19, 2025. SBI aims to fill 600 PO vacancies through this recruitment.
