It could happen in the upcoming days that you search something in Google and it is interrupted by an ad! Yes, the search giant Google has declared a set of new ad types that shall show up throughout its mobile products.
A feature on gallery ads shall be introduced by Google that allows advertisers to display multiple images for users to swipe through.
The major crux of change that one will go through is, to see ads in Google’s discover feed — the feed of news stories that one finds built into many Android home screens.
This is expected to make the ad formats a lot more noticeable.
On this, Google ad Chief Prabhakar Raghavan said, “It has been found in the tests that Gallery ads result up in 25 per cent more interactions than the traditional search ads.”
