Sheffield University Management School has announced scholarships for students enrolling in its MBA programme for the September 2025 intake. Eligible candidates can receive financial support covering up to 50% of tuition fees, making the programme more accessible to aspiring business leaders.
The scholarship process is integrated with the admissions cycle, ensuring that all applicants for the full-time MBA programme are automatically considered. No separate scholarship application is required. However, applicants must first receive an offer to study the Sheffield MBA before being evaluated for financial support. The scholarship is applicable as a tuition fee discount only, with no cash alternatives available.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Sheffield MBA Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
– Hold either a conditional or unconditional offer for the Sheffield MBA.
– Candidates who have gained admission through the exceptions process are ineligible.
– The scholarship cannot be combined with any other University of Sheffield scholarships.
The selection process involves a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s application, including their supporting statement and interview performance with the MBA admissions team. The admissions committee will assess responses to key questions such as:
– Motivation for pursuing an MBA.
– Professional strengths and development areas.
– How the Sheffield MBA aligns with their career goals.
– Unique achievements and professional experience.
Final decisions on scholarship awards will be made by the MBA admissions panel, with recommendations approved by the MBA Programme Director. The panel’s decision is final, and no appeals will be considered.
Successful applicants must commence their studies in Autumn 2025 and should not be sponsored students. Those awarded the scholarship must pay a tuition fee deposit by a specified deadline.
