The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to start from coming Monday January 28, 2019 receiving applications for recruitment of Junior Engineers (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying and contract) through its official website ssc.nic.in.
According to the SSC JE Recruitment Notification published in newspapers, the SSC JE Exam 2018 application process will start from January 28 and end on February 25, 2019. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will publish on its website a detailed notification on January 28, 2019.
Candidates should note the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) exam 2018 will be held only in Online Computer based mode.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for SSC JE 2018, a candidate is required to be a citizen of India. He/she must fall under the age limit required for the posts offered through SSC JE 2018 Exam.
- Candidates should also note that different post have different age criteria. Candidates are required to make sure about their age and qualification before applying for the examination.
- Apart from Nationality and Age Limit, a candidate must also have certain educational qualification to be eligible for the post of Junior Engineer in various departments/ministries of the Government of India.
The Staff Selection Commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central Government.
