The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the dates for several major recruitment exams and their online correction windows for 2025.
The updated schedule affects candidates applying for various posts, including Delhi Police Constables, Sub-Inspectors, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Aspirants can now check the revised timelines and correction periods on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The Commission has also reopened the correction window for several exams to allow candidates to make necessary edits to their applications before final submission.
CHSL EXAM RESCHEDULED
In a significant update, the SSC has rescheduled the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 Tier-I examination. The computer-based test (CBT) will now be conducted from November 12, 2025, across multiple examination centres nationwide.
The CHSL exam, initially planned between September 8 and 18, was postponed unexpectedly, leading to uncertainty among aspirants. The new schedule now provides clarity and ample time for candidates to prepare.
Additionally, the SSC has introduced a self-slot selection facility for CHSL 2025. Starting October 22, candidates can log in to the SSC portal and select their preferred exam city, date, and shift based on availability.
This window will remain open until October 28, after which no further modifications will be accepted.
CORRECTION WINDOWS FOR DELHI POLICE AND CAPF EXAMS
The SSC has announced revised correction periods for several Delhi Police and CAPF recruitment exams.
Candidates applying for the Constable (Driver) – Male and Head Constable (Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator) posts in Delhi Police can make corrections between October 31 and November 2, 2025, until 11 pm.
For the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exam, the correction window will be open from November 3 to November 5, 2025.
Applicants for the Head Constable (Ministerial) position can edit their forms from November 5 to November 7, 2025.
Meanwhile, candidates for the Constable (Executive) Male and Female posts in Delhi Police can make corrections from November 7 to November 9, 2025, up to 11 pm.
APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED
The Commission has also extended the deadline to apply for the Delhi Police Constable Exam 2025 to October 31. This extension offers applicants more time to complete their registration process without rushing through documentation or fee payments.
