The Gujarat present, Statue of Unity, has bagged the record of being one among the Times’s 100 great places in world.
The Statue of Unity is a huge statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who during the non-violent Indian Independence movement was India’s first home minister and principal adherent of Mahatma Gandhi.
To point a geographic location, it is located on the river island facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam.
