Students from schools in Chennai, New Delhi, Gurgaon and Bengaluru have won a fully sponsored student experience for a week at a leading Australian University as part of the Film Fly Experience Australia – Australia Future Unlimited Schools Video Competition.
The Film Fly Experience Australia – Australia Future Unlimited schools video competition organised by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Australian Government featured participation from students and schools in grades 9 to 12 across four countries, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to develop short videos around the themes of
- Creating my own music
- Improving Quality of life through humanitarian engineering and entrepreneurship
- Data science
- Improving the lives of those living in smart cities and urban areas
- UN sustainability goals
Featuring participation from more than 630+ schools across South Asia, the following schools in India were declared as the winners of the competition:
- Springdales School, New Delhi – Creating my own music (Australian Institute of Music)
- Vaels International School, Chennai – Improving quality of life through humanitarian engineering and entrepreneurship (Australian National University)
- DAV Public School, Chennai – Data science (Bond University)
- DPS International School, Gurgaon – Improving the lives of those living in smart cities and urban areas (University of Technology Sydney)
- National Public School, Bengaluru – UN Sustainability Goals (University of Wollongong)

Students along with teachers from each of the winning schools will travel to Australia to participate in a student experience at the sponsoring universities between May to June 2019.
