We peep into a street. We find a lot of women participation at every nook and corner. Right from lady vegetable sellers, to manager walking in corporate attire for her workplace, we find women. It feels a sense of pride and accomplishment, especially in a country like India, where woman typically is considered good only if they at home to take care of family and guests around.
No, please don’t get demeaned here. We don’t mean that woman, earlier, was chained within boundary of house. But we imply that, today, a woman also looks after the family and walks hand-in-hand with needs of workplace. Their mindsets are no more restricted. They have understood that they deserve much more goodness of the world. Hence, they need to step out and express themselves with work.
According to an organization, Catalyst, Increasing women’s labor force participation by 10% could add $700 billion to India’s GDP by 2025. The statistic is a representation of vast workplace caliber that a woman can add to the country.
So, one can conclude that a woman not only adds value to the family, but is equally capable to transform the country’s GDP. In this direction, one can witness a lot of changes in the country where country’s top-notch CEOs are ladies, country’s high class sport players are ladies, and in-fact the missions by the ISRO also included ladies. Isn’t it a happy scenario where a same woman who talks with much please and simplicity at home, carries equally dignified persona at workplace?
Again, we are not a pro-feminist raising all these claims. But, it’s a simple matter, coming right from heart where it just feels blissful seeing the gender-equality at work. But, this is just the start. The country has to cross lot more hurdles and show to the world that Indian woman not only gets the respect just because of their ‘genders,’ but also for the intelligent and wise thinking that inspires lot others!
