Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 42nd Convocation at Anna University and congratulated the graduating students. On the occasion he made a remark that he whole world is looking at India’s youth with hope as they are the growth engines of the globe.
“The whole world is looking at India’s youth with hope. Because you are the growth engine of the country and India is the world’s growth engine. This is a huge honour and responsibility on all of you,” said the PM.
He commented that pandemic is not a time of uncertainty but of opportunity. Modi also urged the graduating students to use it as an opportunity to establish and achieve new things. “India faced the unknown confidently, thanks to its scientists, healthcare workers and the common people. Due to this India is at the forefront. Our Industry is at the forefront,” he added.
During the event, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin felicitated Narendra Modi. Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister, K Ponmudy, was also present for the occasion.
