The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has started the TS POLYCET 2025 registration on March 20. Candidates can apply online at polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The entrance exam is scheduled for May 13, and results will be announced 12 days after the test.

Registration Deadline: April 19
Late Fee Options:
- ₹100 late fee – Apply until April 21
- ₹300 late fee – Apply until April 23
Application Fee:
- General category: ₹500
- SC/ST candidates: ₹250
New Reservation Policy for Polytechnic Admissions
The Telangana government has introduced a new reservation policy for polytechnic admissions from the 2025-26 academic year:
85% of seats are reserved for Telangana local candidates in the Osmania University region.
15% of seats are open to all Telangana locals who meet the residency criteria.
Candidates (or their parents) must have lived in Telangana for 10 years (excluding time spent outside the state for study or work).
This policy comes after the end of the common admission process between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, following the AP Reorganisation Act 2014.

In 2024, 82,809 students appeared for TS POLYCET across Telangana.
