A major decision has been taken by The UAE Ministry of Education on 31.3.19, as they agree on issuing an equivalency for all Indian degrees that match the set criterion.
Indian Ambassador, Navdeep Singh Suri, quoted that Ministry has given a nod on accepting Indian academic and professional certificates.
This step would be of great help to all the India professionals who are already working in the country and also for those who are planning their careers in UAE.
To give a background, there was a lack of clarity on the fact that some universities issue both internal and external mark sheets on the completion of the degrees. However, these were not accepted in UAE, thereby putting the students and professionals in a state of dilemma. In fact, in a few of the cases, the certificates were being rejected, giving a reason for equivalency.
As such, there have been cases where people came to the embassy asking for help. Now, that the decision comes in favour of students, one can expect a large set of people to be benefited.
It is to be noted that UAE Equivalency on Indian certificates is mandatory in order to work at UAE.
