As per the suggestions received from the students and institutions, the Chhattisgarh government has requested universities to conduct the remaining exams for the academic session 2021-2022 in an online or blended mode. The state higher education department on the orders of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has directed universities to do that.
Higher education institutions were authorized by the UGC to finalize the decisions of conducting classes in an online or blended mode and also conducting exams according to the situation Covid 19 presented.
“The process of conducting annual examinations of universities takes 50 to 60 days to complete. It is a huge challenge for the examination centre to ensure arrangements as per COVID preventive protocols for such a long period. Keeping this in mind, instructions were given to conduct the remaining examinations online or in blended mode,” he stated. Universities would take further action with the executive councils authorization the spokesperson stated.
