The University of Strathclyde, Scotland, has announced a range of scholarships for international (non-EU) students enrolling in full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught programmes within the Faculty of Engineering for the September 2025 intake.

Eligible students will have the scholarship amount automatically deducted from their tuition fees upon payment of their deposit. The award is non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another academic session.
Eligible Courses
Students enrolling in disciplines such as Aeronautical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, and more within the Faculty of Engineering can avail of this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students with an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught course at the Glasgow campus for the September 2025 intake. Those receiving full sponsorship from a government body or embassy are not eligible. Only one scholarship per academic year is permitted, and the Faculty of Engineering’s decision on awards is final.
Dean’s International Excellence Awards
In addition to the £5,000 scholarships, the Faculty of Engineering is offering a limited number of Dean’s International Excellence Awards, valued at £7,000 and £10,000. These will be awarded automatically to outstanding applicants, with notifications sent before 31 July 2025.
