The UP Board examination results for classes 10th and 12th will be declared by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), in the third week of April 2018.
Students will be able to access their respective results on the official website: upmsp.edu.in. Results will be made available through some third party websites as well. Students will be required to log in using their hall ticket/roll number and their date of birth, in order to view their scores. They are suggested to take a printout of their results for future references. Another way of accessing the results is on mobile via SMS facilities.
Neena Srivastava, the Board Secretary said, “Since we started the exams from February 6, therefore the results will be out early.” The class 10th examinations were carried out from 6th February 2018 to 22nd February 2018 while the class 12th examinations went on from 6th February to 12th March 2018.
For the process of evaluation of the answer scripts of the examinations, the board had hired 1.46 lakh examiners. The results of the examination are usually declared around the month of May. This year, the announcement has been advanced by the board.
The examinations took place under strict security measures undertaken by the board, to discourage unfair means. It was reported that more than 10 lakh students missed out the examinations conducted from 6th February to 12th March 2018.
Dinesh Sharma, UP Deputy Chief Minister further added, “We are happy that it was a copying-free examination and the answer sheets have been evaluated in time. We will declare the results of UP Board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 in April.” He concluded that the new academic session of 2018-19 will begin from the 16th of April. The new academic calendar will be released by July 2018.
