This stage is critical for aspirants progressing to the Mains, which is scheduled to begin on August 22, 2025, and will conclude over a period of five days.

A total of 14,161 candidates have cleared the Preliminary examination and are now eligible to appear for the Mains. Only these shortlisted individuals can access and submit the DAF required for the next phase of the selection process.

Additional Information
The UPSC has clarified that Prelims marks, cutoff scores, and answer keys will be published only after the completion of the entire CSE 2025 process, including the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination. As of now, results of four candidates are being withheld due to pending legal matters.
