Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Geologist and IES/ISS
Educational Qualification
For Geologist: Candidates should have passed Master’s Degree in Geological Science or Applied Geology or equivalent from a recognized university.
For Indian Economic Service (IES): Candidates should have passed Master’s Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university.
For Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2018)
For Geologist: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years
For IES/ISS: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test and Personal Interview.
Application Fee: General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200 through SBI Bank Challan or online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. SC/ST/PWBD and women candidates don’t have to pay any fee.
