The UPTET was initially scheduled to held on November 4, 2018, but the exam has been postponed to November 18, 2018 due to the alleged paper leak. From 30 October, 2018 the candidates can download their admit cards through the official website at www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
As per reports, more than 44000 applications were rejected due to various reasons and around 35535 applications were cancelled due to multiple fillings. Due to this, about 17.80 lakh candidates will appear for the UPTET this year.
In 2017, nearly 10 lakh applied for the exam of which, exam authority had rejected 32,587 applications. UPTET was initially scheduled to be held on November 4, 2018 but has been postponed to November 18 due to the alleged paper leak a day before the BTC exam, as per reports. UPBEB will release the answer keys on November 25, 2018.
UPTET Admit Card 2018: Know How to Download
The registration process for the examination was started on September 17. As per reports, a record 22.77 lakh candidates have registered successfully for the exam. On the last date of the registration day evening, the applicants’ number rose to 18.20 lakh.
Step 1: Log in to the official website (www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in)
Step 2: On the homepage, click on UPTET link
Step 3: There will be a link for notification and application
Step 4: Click on the ‘download admit card’ link
Step 5: Enter the details required in the fields provided
Step 6: Submit this information to search for your admit card
Step 7: Take a print out of the admit card and save it for further reference
