Her name is Divya Jain and she is the co-founder and CEO of Safeducate, India’s one of the largest consulting firm for training and skilling. It is a very innovative pledge taken up by Divya, wherein she is taking up the face of huge containers and turning them into cir-conditioned and colorful classrooms, that run on solar power.
About her noble task Divya says, “The container school programme is an initiative to reach the masses where government reach is limited. The innovative concept will greatly bring down the cost and effort involved in developing infrastructure to meet the skilling needs of people.”
The programme was launched in 2015, and so far via the concept more than 20,000 students have been trained from the Tier 3 and rural India.
This creative experiment has also been appreciated by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Ministry of Rural Development (MORD).
The best part is that not only can these containers portable, but if need be they can also be dismantled and reused.
