The Bank of Maharashtra has launched a recruitment drive for 500 Generalist Officer (Scale II) positions. Candidates can apply through the official website, bankofmaharashtra.in, with the online application process now open until 30 August 2025.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an Integrated Dual Degree in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). Additionally, Chartered Accountants (CA) are also eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications such as CMA, CFA, ICWA, JAIIB, or CAIIB.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience as an officer in a Scheduled Public or Private Sector Bank is required. Candidates with experience in credit, branch management, or similar leadership roles will be given preference.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be between 22 and 35 years of age, with relaxations for reserved categories in accordance with government rules.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed at Scale II, with a basic salary ranging from Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be entitled to various allowances, including:

* House Rent Allowance (HRA)
* City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)
* Medical benefits and other perks, as per bank policy.
