Scholarships for B.Tech Programmes
1. Full Fee Remission
Eligibility: Annual family income below Rs 1,00,000
Amount: Full tuition fee waiver of Rs 1,00,000 per semester
2. Two-Third Fee Remission
Eligibility: Annual family income between Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 5,00,000
Amount: Two-thirds tuition fee waiver of Rs 66,667 per semester
3. MCM Scholarship
Eligibility: Annual family income below Rs 4,50,000; awarded to 25% of the sanctioned strength based on JEE rank
Amount: Full tuition fee waiver of Rs 1,00,000 per semester + Rs 1,000 per month as pocket money for four months in a semester
4. SC/ST Scholarship
Eligibility: Annual family income below Rs 4,50,000; for SC/ST community members
Amount: Waiver of hostel accommodation and dining charges (approx. Rs 27,000 per semester) + Rs 250 per month as pocket money for four months in a semester
5. PwD Fee Waiver
Eligibility: Must provide a certificate of disability
Amount: Full tuition fee waiver of Rs 1,00,000 per semester
Scholarships for MSc Programmes
1. MCM Scholarship
Eligibility: Annual family income below Rs 4,50,000; awarded to 25% of the sanctioned strength based on JAM rank
Amount: Full tuition fee waiver of Rs 3,000 per semester + Rs 1,000 per month as pocket money for four months in a semester
2. Prof Valsakumar Memorial Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
Eligibility: MSc Physics student with the highest JAM rank and an annual family income of Rs 4,50,000 or below
Amount: Rs 35,000 per year
3. Prof Valsakumar Memorial Merit Award
Eligibility: MSc Physics student with the highest CGPA
Amount: Rs 5,000 per year
4. SC/ST Scholarship
Eligibility: Annual family income below Rs 4,50,000; for SC/ST community members
