In a significant step toward developing future leaders in public service, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in collaboration with the Government of Chhattisgarh, has launched a fully-funded two-year MBA in Public Policy and Governance under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF).
This pioneering programme aims to equip students with the analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills necessary to address complex governance challenges. It is specifically tailored to empower the youth of Chhattisgarh and create a pipeline of professionals ready to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development agenda.
Who Can Apply
The programme is open to 36 students domiciled in Chhattisgarh. Eligible candidates must:
- Hold a graduation degree with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories),
- Have valid CAT scores from 2022, 2023, or 2024, and
- Apply by the deadline of May 11, 2025.
Government Support
The Chhattisgarh government will fully sponsor the programme, covering tuition fees and providing a monthly stipend of ₹50,000. This stipend will support living expenses, including boarding and lodging, during the academic tenure at IIM Raipur.
