The two-day spectacular event ‘PARIVARTAN – Dream India Schools’ National Leadership Summit 2023’ was inaugurated by the distinguished group of dignitaries that included Mr. Brahmam KV, the esteemed founder and Chief Editor of Brain Feed Magazine, Mr. Ashok Pandey, a prominent member of the Management Board of Dream India Schools, Mr. Krishna Kumar, an esteemed member of the Management Board at Dream India schools, Mr. GVS Prasad, the illustrious National Head Academics at Dream India Schools and esteemed Executive Director of CfBT Education Services, Mr. Tarsem, an esteemed financial expert and a valued member of the management board at Dream India School, Dr. Amrita Vohra, the visionary member of the Management Board of Dream India School, Mr. Sudhir Chitnis, the distinguished National Head of Operations, Dream India Schools. Principals and heads from affordable schools across the country were in attendance.
Dream India Schools is a leading organization dedicated to transforming the education system in India and creating a nurturing environment for students to achieve their dreams irrespective of economic disparities. The organization serves as a platform for educators, policymakers, and industry experts to come together and exchange ideas, insights, and best practices in education.
The aim of the event was to celebrate the power of education and the transformative potential it holds for every child in our great nation. The event started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ and a song ‘A beautiful day’ to welcome the guests. Following the inauguration, Mr. Chitnis gave his inspiring speech, humbling all present and agreeing with him in unison when he said ‘we are all teachers in some way, we must inspire others and help them grow’. In tandem were Dr. Ashok Pandey’s words who recited a shlok that translates into the role of a ‘Guru’ in a child’s life. A teacher at the core, and driven by passion to bring a change, Dr. Pandey engaged the audience into activities designed to aid student’s learning. ‘I can, I will, I must be a leader’ chorused the audience as Mr. Sudhir Chitnis lead them to take the oath. Dr. Vinnie Jauhari, the esteemed Director of Learning & Skills at Microsoft Corporation Pvt. Ltd. was the Guest of Honour.
Our humble and virtuous distinguished group of dignitaries shared their ideologies with the attending principals and teachers in different sessions with one aim; driving the team to work towards a common cause. And this fell perfectly in sync with our ’75yr year of freedom- Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Our fundamental rights allow us right to equality and freedom of thought and expression; equality before law and prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, gender or place of birth; expression that will be the outcome of holistic learning through robust education. It is imperative that we put ‘Right to quality education’ on the centre stage as every child in India has the fundamental right to quality education, an education one that helps them to acquire basic literacy and numeracy, enjoy learning without fear and feel valued and included irrespective of where they come from.
Day two of the event welcomed happy faces of our guests who were as eager as day one. Education empowers individuals by providing them with knowledge, skills and critical thinking abilities. Our robust constitution gives us the right against exploitation and hence, an invigorating session on ‘POSH and POCSO’ was organised that served as an eye-opener while also providing a solution to several unanswered questions. A dash of music and sprinkle of laughter completed the aesthetic touch to the event.
Our children are our future and the need to invest in their education is the need of the hour; as a society that prioritizes education is more likely to thrive and uphold the values of freedom and democracy. Hence, our dream – Dream India Schools; with a mission to serve students from all backgrounds, in a safe and supportive environment, working together with teachers and parents, developing self-disciplined adults who will contribute responsible in a global community.
