The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has opened the registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by COMEDK member institutions can apply through the official website, comedk.org.
As per the official notification, the application window will remain open until March 16, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Documents Required for Registration
Candidates should keep the following documents and details ready before filling out the application form:
- Recent passport-size photograph in the prescribed format

- Class 10 marksheet or certificate for date of birth verification
- Class 12 or equivalent qualification details

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination
- Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects, along with Chemistry or an approved alternative subject
- Minimum aggregate marks required:
- General category: 45 per cent
- Reserved category: 40 per cent
Domicile Requirement
There is no domicile restriction for COMEDK UGET 2026. Candidates from any state across India are eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern
Based on previous years’ trends, COMEDK UGET is expected to be a three-hour examination comprising 180 multiple-choice questions, with one mark awarded for each correct answer. The question paper will include sections on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, though the exact pattern may vary depending on the course applied for.
Use of COMEDK UGET 2026 Scores
COMEDK UGET 2026 scores will be used for undergraduate engineering admissions in more than 150 unaided private colleges across Karnataka. Admissions will be conducted through a centralised single-window counselling process managed by COMEDK.
