The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 on February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to download the answer key and raise objections, if any, through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The objection window will remain open from February 4 to February 5, 2026. The final result for Session 1 is expected to be announced by February 12, after all challenges submitted by candidates are reviewed.
How to Download JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key
Candidates can follow the steps below to access the provisional answer key:
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
- Click on “Provisional Answer Key for Session 1” under the Candidate Activity section
- Log in using the required credentials
- View the answer key and submit objections, if required
- Download and save the answer key for future reference
Objection Review Process
Candidates may challenge the provisional answer key within the specified period. If NTA finds any objection valid, the necessary corrections will be incorporated, and a revised final answer key will be released. The results will be prepared based on this final answer key.
