Mathura Sanskriti University is emerging as one of the fastest growing universities of India has been committed to contribute to academics, research and innovation to enable our country to make a transition from developing economy to a developed economy. Sanskriti University has recognized the importance of the Research and Innovation that during such a short period of span, the university has filed more than 300 patent and more than 50 design applications filed and more than 50 patent applications are published.
Sanskriti University’s Patent portfolio now totals 21 issued patents, with a dozen new patents recently published by Indian Patent Office. These include patents from various fields such as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Chemistry, etc.

The innovations at the Institute have resulted in the filing of more than 300 patents during the last two years. The extensive research and hard work have led to such a great number of patents in a year. To have our innovations recognized by the patent office is a source of pride for the entire Sanskriti University.
As mentioned above besides civil and mechanical, several patents are also published in other cutting edges such as Agriculture, biotechnology, medical and Allied science, among others.
From beginning Sanskriti has perceived the significance of Intellectual Property to encourage generation, protect and commercialize IP in University. Hence, over the years University has developed an ecosystem that supports and facilitates the filing of patents by its researchers throughout time. It is fuelled by academics and researcher scholars conducting translational and transformative research in areas that are relevant to the industry.
Sanskriti University, a dedicated Intellectual Property (IP) Cell holds monthly awareness programmes to educate students and staff members about the importance of IP protection and commercialization. To ensure that the procedure runs properly, the Cell implemented work from home immediately after lockdown and took all activities totally online for smooth functioning.
